ADAM EBRAHIM

CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER

Adam Ebrahim is the Chief Investment Officer of the Oasis Group, a global wealth management organization he established in 1997. Adam graduated with an honours degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town where he also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting. He is an admitted Chartered Accountant and Auditor in South Africa and is also a CFA Charter holder. Prior to establishing Oasis, Adam cultivated his experience through the time he spent working for Deloitte &Touché in South Africa and in London before assuming positions as an analyst, portfolio manager, director, and partner of a prominent asset management organization. With over 33 years of experience in the financial services industry Adam’s skill and leadership have ensured that Oasis has become a global leader in ethical investments and wealth management.

MICHAEL SWINGLER

SENIOR ANALYST

Michael Swingler (Senior Analyst) was educated at the University of Stellenbosch and the University of South Africa, where he successfully completed a B.Compt (Hons) and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant and Auditor in South Africa. Michael is a CFA Charter holder and has been directly employed by Oasis since the company’s inception after he completed his articles with Deloitte & Touché in South Africa. He is a member of the ASISA Fund Mandate Standing Committee and Fixed Interest Committee. Michael has 23 years of industry experience and has been with Oasis for 20 years.

HASSAN MOTALA

SENIOR ANALYST

Hassan Motala (Senior Analyst) was educated at the University of Durban-Westville in South Africa, where he completed his Bachelor of Accountancy and his Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting. He subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Auditor in South Africa, after completing his articles at Deloitte & Touché. Hassan has been a CFA Charter holder since 2005. Hassan has been directly employed by Oasis for 15 years and has 18 years of industry experience.

ISMAEL EBRAHIM

SENIOR ANALYST

Ismael Ebrahim (Senior Analyst) was educated at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, where he completed his Bachelor of Commerce and his Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting. He subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa, after completing his articles at Price Waterhouse Coopers. Ismael has a total of 8 years of industry experience of which 5 years has been with Oasis.
