Looking for a CA SA for a client who is an International Logistics Company based in Cape Town to oversee the office and to act as the owners’ representative internationally monitoring the operations of about 10 companies.

​

Reporting to the Group Chairman and must be up to date on taxation and international business trends and will be required to assist the Group Chairman at short notice should the need arise.

​

Quarterly overseas visits to the head office in England and the attendance at international Board Meetings. The time commitment for the quarterly meetings would be two weeks per quarter.

​

Must have good communications skills and experience in the logistics sector would be an advantage.

• Prepare correspondence and documents from digital dictation;

Personal Assistant - Cape Town

To provide an efficient personal secretarial and administrative support services to the senior executive team within the company; manage and coordinate all aspects of the executive’s office in a highly professional manner.

This position entails full personal assistant duties like: 

  • Typing of documentation, reports, or correspondence

  • Manage incoming communications - written (filing, faxing, email, etc.) and verbal (telephone, direct, etc.)

  • Establish and maintain an effective filing system, both electronic and physical, and timeously file all documentation

  • Complete all business travel arrangements and preparations efficiently and timeously in line with company processes and practices

  • Manage the executive’s diary, ensuring all meetings and engagements are correctly diarised, that the Executive is aware of and prepared for any upcoming meetings

  • Coordinate various meetings, conferences, and functions, ensuring that the relevant delegates are timeously invited, appropriate venues are booked, and that necessary equipment, training materials, and refreshments are arranged

  • Screen incoming telephone calls/emails if required by the executives, redirecting to relevant individuals where required
